"This is a lovely.vig spacious hotel with plenty of space in and around the property.
The staff are brilliant, the bar area is great, the breakfast is excellent and the rooms are lovely and well decorated and themed on Haydock Racecourse and Horse Racing somits perfect for reaching enthusiasts and anybody else. The air-conditioning isn't the best in the rooms and the hallways at the rear of the building but the reception and communal areas at the front are well air conditioned. We were supplied fans and the blackout curtains kept the room cool formour second night. I think someone, pretty the previous guests, decided to leave the heating on full in the middle of a heatwave. I wish I would have thought of that one when I was a child!! Ha ha."
