Begin and end your daily adventures in the comfort of one of the two cabins on site. beautiful modern alaskan log homes!
Ideally located in a residential neighborhood 45 mins north of Anchorage and 10 minutes from Wasilla stores where you can find local restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, Iditarod Headquarters and the museum/visitor center. You can be hiking in Hatchers Pass in just a 30 min scenic drive, Exploring Matanuska Glacier or many other alaskan activities.
The space
Newly constructed log home. Beautiful Alaskan craftsmanship! Comes with two bedrooms and one full bathroom. This cabin is cozy, clean and private. Two queen beds with comfortable bedding and pillows.
-Fully-equipped kitchen is ready to prepare home-cooked meals. It has a full sized fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove/oven. We provide Tea, coffee, cocoa some spices and salt and pepper.
-The bathroom has a full sized front lode washer and dryer, a toilet shower/bath and sink. we provide laundry detergent.
-The first bedroom is on the main floor and has a comfy queen bed (memory foam firm) and has nice bedding and plenty of cozy pillows. There is also a closet.
-The second bedroom is an open loft accessed by a steeper then normal timber framed staircase. It has a comfy queen bed (memory foam firm) and a nice reading chair. There is also a bonus nook/room that is great to hangout in!
-The main space has a large comfy sectional couch, table for four, office space with chair. A 32" smart tv that is connected to wi-fi. The wi-fi works great for streaming your favorite Netflix, Hulu or Amazon movies!
-USB/power outlets, for charging devices are near the bed and kitchen.

We are a pet free property.
Smoking is not allowed in or around the home.

We had a great stay. The cabin is very comfortable. Ben was quick to respond with any questions and suggestions for things to do. This was our first trip to Alaska. I would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing place!
We will absolutely be back to this adorable cabin! He really thought of everything here. We had a grill to use, fire pit and wood, shampoo, conditioner, laundry equipment and full size washer/dryer. He even left orange juice, milk, and smores stuff for us. Oh and coffee! He really thought of everything. This cabin was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Great location as well. We will definitely be back!

Had a great time at this cabin, everything thing you could possibly need. Stores and groceries are near by and food deliver is available. Got to meet Ben and he was very helpful in whatever we needed. Will definitely be coming back, no doubt. Highly recommend these cabins.

Perfect for us
This was perfect for us. Three adults, my wife and i and my 80 year old mother. The trip was a bucket list thing for her birthday. My wife and i have been to Aladka many times, usually staying in Wasilla/Palmer area. This was a great stay for a comfortable Alaskan experience. Cute, well appointed, comfortable log cabin in a wooded area but convenient to things. Great owner who thought of everything. Will always look for a reservation here during future trips.

Beautiful cabin in quiet area
This beautiful cabin in the woods was the perfect setting for our 4 day trip to the Wasilla & Palmer areas to attend the Arctic Winter Games. Easy to get to and around, loads of amenities nearby. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay and Ben, the host, was super easy to deal with. The spectacular landscape of the area makes you feel like you’re living in a postcard! My companions, two women nearing 80yrs loved the quaintness of the cabin too. The stairs to the upper level were no trouble even for the guest with a knee replacement! Great handrails on both sides made all the difference. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Winter stay
We have stayed here 2 years in a row and it's now a tradition. We're calling it the Christmas cabin. Beautifully Alaskan decorated, cozy and the owner's accommodating. If we could hitch this to our truck and haul it home, we would.

Wasilla cabin
Very tidy, well equipped and organized cabin near Wasilla we used to stay a night while traveling between different Alaskan towns. Owner had everything you need easily accessible and wonderful outside covered fire pit area for an evening fire. Bedroom was nice size and loft space was large, however stairs leading to loft were smaller so had to be careful going up and down. Definitely would recommend this cabin and would stay there again!!

Incredible Cabin
Stayed here for three nights and everything about the stay here was incredible! On top of it being a beautiful place to stay the owner did everything to make you feel welcome with great communication, firewood to make a fire, s’mores, a small library of Alaskan books, and so much more! The only thing that could have made our stay more perfect would to have seen a moose go past! Thank you Ben!! It was awesome!!!

Easy to find property. Close to food, restaurants and activities. Very clean property, well organized with some breakfast and drink amenities when we arrived. Full size washer and dryer. Beds were comfortable and bedding was nice. Comfortable living space and we spent time at the fire pit. Great amenity we a terrific view to the East. Trash was on site and easy parking. Thank you Ben. We thoroughly enjoyed your property- we loved the fact that people are requested to remove shoes. Makes your property cleaner and no mud in the house.

If your looking for that warm cabin feel you can’t do much better than than this one I will definitely rent this again when I come back to town. It’s the second cabin I’ve rented in Wasilla but now it’s the only one I’d rent hands down!!!
