3 bedrooms; a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a second bedroom with a full and a set of queen bunkbeds and a third with a full and another set of queen bunk beds. That’s 7 beds!
1 full Bath with Shower stall and a ½ bath off the kitchen, sleeps 7 on Big Cedar Lake just outside of West Bend, Wisconsin. We have 2 gas grills, bag chairs, a fire pit and a beautiful deck with a lake view and 6 person hot tub.
The space
Welcome to our charmingly remodeled 3 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath, four season lakefront cottage which sleeps 7 on beautiful Big Cedar Lake just outside of West Bend, Wisconsin. Less than 40 minutes from Milwaukee and two hours from Chicago, Big Cedar Lake is a fully recreational lake which 1.45 miles and reaches a maximum depth of 105 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from a private boat landing. Known for its amazing beauty and great fishing, anglers of all ages will enjoy reeling in Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. For those who enjoy going out on the lake and getting into the water, Big Cedar Lake is home to one of the most popular sand bars in the Midwest.
The property offers 100 feet of frontage, a pier, swimming, and family fun activities as well as nearby access to miles of biking and walking trails. For the winter lovers, It is less than 15 minutes from Little Switzerland Ski Area which offers snowboarding, night skiing, cross country and downhill skiing, snowshoe trails, snow tubing and mountain biking in the summer.
You will love the warm and cozy feel of our newly remodeled and sparkling clean lake house which incorporates, shiplap, and wood elements throughout. The adorable main living space features homey, traditional furnishings and an open layout makes it easy to get comfortable with friends and family while you enjoy spectacular views of the lake.
There are plenty of your favorite classic board games, puzzles, and playing cards for some old school, unplugged fun as well. You will also find a large wall-mounted TV which includes Spectrum Cable and an interactive smart tv to sign into your favorite apps. We also offer FREE Wi-Fi to all of our guests.
When you enter the kitchen, you’ll be greeted by a warm ambient glow from our accent lighting. You will find it very well stocked with all of the pots, pans, glassware, and serving needed during your stay. In addition to the standard appliances, we also offer a blender, microwave and Keurig for all of your caffeine needs. And, speaking of coffee, there is nothing quite like watching the sunrise over the lake while you enjoy your hot cup of java on the deck.
For dinner be sure to join us at Timmer's Resort / Restaurant, just up the road from the cottage. Serving the best cocktials and food on the lake, you can sit down to dinner in the dining room or just join us in the bar. In the summer, the patio overlooking the lake is a perfect way to enjoy a summer meal and Sunday brunch is always a hit.
Our cottage has 3 bedrooms; a master bedroom with a queen size bed, a both the second and thitd bedrooms are equipped with a full bed and queen bunkbeds. Although the bedrooms are smaller, new beds, mattresses, and bedding ensure a cozy and relaxing night’s sleep.
To ensure a comfortable stay for all of our guests, we have installed a new HVAC units for hot summer days and cold winter nights. We also have a washer and dryer in the mud room off the kitchen
There is plenty of room in the spacious yard for outdoor games and we also provide 2 gas grills for out door cooking
.
Finally, a vacation on the lake would not be complete without a fire pit under the stars. You’ll have ample room around the fire to enjoy incredible lake views, share stories with friends and family, tell spooky campfire stories, listen to some tunes, and of course cook up some classic and gooey smores.
If you are looking for an “Up North” feel without having to deal with traffic and four or more hours in the car each way, this is the perfect place for you.

Guests have full use of the cottage with the exception of the owner's closet located at the end of the hallway to the left of the fridge.
Guests also receive a 15% discount at Timmer's Resort / Restaurant. Please let your server or bartender know you are renting Cottage 7 so they can apply your discount. We do not share any personal information with the team at Timmer's, so please let them know you are renting the
