Quaint winter community with well groomed Nordic ski trails. Good food and just enough amenities during the winter to get you by. We loved the little ski/bike shop, too!

This is a very walkable town. The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center was both educational and entertaining.

Nice little town with easy access to Yellowstone National Park. If you are staying here be sure to check out Firehole BBQ, and Yogi's for lunch and dinner.

Everyone in West Yellowstone was friendly, eager to help, service was excellent anywhere we went. We ate at a different small restaurant every day and loved everyone we went to, great food and experience. Hope you get some snow soon!!

The town is super cute, but lots of the stores were the typical tourist traps. For souvenirs, I would recommend sticking to the stores within the park. Decent amount of restaurants in the area, highly recommend TR Burgers!

Taking into account previous experiences: overall WYs is a quiet, quaint rather typical little touristy town. I like it. But this time it was more an untouched post-apocalyptic haven. Most places closed. And 10x more ravens than people. 😂
"Very nice, especially for a motel. Very clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced for West Yellowstone. Not enough parking. Ended up parking on the street the second night."
"This is an older hotel with nice updates in a great location by the west entrance to Yellowstone. Pleasant staff. Decent beds. Good price. Very clean."
"The Yellowstone was our main road trip destination. The hotel was great! Accommodating, eco-friendly, Parking was include/available, and breakfast was included. At night they had snacks and s'more-making supplies for the outdoor firepit seating area.
The location is perfect. You are minutes from the South entrance of the Yellow Stone. You must have a vehicle as the main gysers, hiking trails and other wonders of the Yellowstone are about 30-60 minutes from the hotel. I can't stress enough how perfectly located you are.
The only downside to this area, is that majority of the places open at 8am, so if you are an early riser like us (5am) to get Into the Park early your chances of getting coffee or snacks are slim to none. We suggest eating and loading up on snacks from the hotel and leave before 7am to avoid traffic at the entrance of The south gate of the Yellowstone. "
"Great stay, clean, tidy, quiet and the reception staff we spoke to were really friendly. Great location for walking around West Yellowstone for bars, restaurants and easy access to Yellowstone National park too! "
"Check in was smooth and pleasant. Property was nicely decorated with flowers and pictures. Cleaning personnel were always present doing windows, banisters, floors, porch areas etc. breakfast was good and personnel was pleasant and accommodating. "
