"Overall nice hotel"

"Has beautiful scenery and it was near a Nordic ski track. It had a nice ambience and warm feel to it. "

"Although I gave 3 stars for the property condition it was only because the ceiling in the pool and hot tub area desperately needs some attention. Other than that I give 5 stars across the board for the hotel! We had 2 dogs with us and 3 kids and they appropriately placed us in the most convenient place for us, easy to walk the dogs and access our vehicle without having to disturb the other guests around us. The staff was so friendly and amazing. They were very helpful in finding nice places to visit and dine. I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Rib and Chop House to eat! While the hostess was amazing the food was TERRIBLE and they didn't even do anything about it! Should have inquired about that place with the staff at Econlodge! If you are looking for a getaway on a budget that is definitely family and pet friendly I definitely recommend Econolodge Livingston! We will definitely be booking them again next time we go that way!"

"GREAT value for the price! Clean, well maintained rooms, nice pool and hot tub area. Although the hot tub was so hot that it was not enjoyable. Took forever to get into and had to get out in short order. Decided to take a hot shower in the morning rather than a repeat in the hot tub. Absolutely the hottest hot tub that I've ever been in! Too hot. But they made up for that blemish by serving up absolutely the best motel breakfast that I've ever had in all of my motel stays over the years!!"
