"Excellent facilities, very clean and great to have off road parking. The stairs are steep and a bit of a challenge. Perhaps there should be a warning included in the house description. The motion sensitive light at the top of the stairs was very necessary. It would also be helpful to have a guide specific to the house, and not just a generic guide. We missed having a recycling bin."

"The house was a great place to stay with lots of interesting places to visit in the area. A great deal of thought has been given to the layout of the property with three good sized bedrooms all with their own bathroom. The main room with its lovely views across the countryside was a great size with comfortable sitting and a very efficient wood burning stove. "The Nook is a lovely place located in a perfect position to explore Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. The quality of the furnishings and particularly the bed are very good. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider a further visit in the future. The only reason for four stars rather than five is due to the narrow spiral staircase which is quite steep. We could manage it but for some people it would be a real challenge."

"Very comfortable house in converted Jackfield Old School. Grandparents had the en-suite bedroom on the second floor and parents and 2 boys had the double and twin bedrooms with family bathroom on the first floor. Open plan kitchen, diner, lounge was perfect for us all and there is a balcony and small garden perfect for eating outside. Walking distance along the river to many attractions in the Ironbridge Gorge as well as a multitude of pubs serving good food."
