"Lovely little cottage, close to Penrith, keswick and ullswater so plenty of options for things to do. The cottage is ideal for the two of us and the pooch, and is our second time staying there and most likely will be returning next year. We even saw a red squirrel which was very nice, though it was too fast for a photograph. The bed is comfy and the shower is amazing after a long walk. It's pretty much got everything you need. Another great stay at Erikas cottage. "

"Spent a week there with family and dogs. Very clean and everything you could need The views are beautiful. One thing to note, if you take a dog make sure you have long leads and a torch, as nowhere enclosed to let them off before bed or first thing. Both bathrooms are en-suite as well as opening to the corridor which was a peek we didn’t expect. The perfect place for a relaxing family trip and highly recommend. "

We were worried about the size of the bunk beds as we didn't realise they were not full size but my daughter and friend (5'11" and 5'9" found them very comfortable). However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property.
