"Very convenient location for exploring York. Surprisingly quiet considering it's above a pub. It was a bit dilapidated, but very clean. Couldn't get the TV to work, and felt awkward to ask for assistance, since there's no front desk, just the pub. "

"Was a lovely hotel with lovely staff in a nice location, I do like the kings inn hotels but admittedly the bathroom wasn’t very clean nor modern and it did smell a little, but it was still good for the price we paid to stay there. The bed was comfortable and we had a sleep without any disturbances. Also breakfast was nice, and the bar maids were very nice and it was very calm and chilled to sit and have a drink in the evening. "

"Very nice lady who looked after us very well, lovely pub , room was good apart from being to hot for my liking luckily two huge windows we could open for some cool air , bed was huge and comfortable, shower was ace , breakfast was great , only small gripe I would have is the pub only stays open to 10pm "
