White Mountains Protected Forest Holidays

This property is in an amazing location, but don’t expect to find parking. We were very happy to return the car so we didn’t need to deal with that anymore. The staff was helpful. They don’t have a front desk exactly. We called someone when we arrived and waited a few minutes for them to come let us in, but we’ve never seen anyone at the front desk after that. They were always available by phone. the room is a bit outdated, but that was expected for this location. You do have to take quite a few steps, so keep that in mind if you’re coming with luggage. The walls are thin so we were able to hear people going up and down the steps and their conversations. The best thing about this property is definitely its location.

Staff were really good and the rooms are nice and spacious. Toilet and shower area is a bit baffling, not sure why they opted to not have a door but a sliding door where you can hear everything, also not convinent.

This is a nice chilled-out venue with a lovely pool and rooftop restaurant. The staff are attentive and always on-hand during the day and evening. The property has a nice 'summer home' feel about it. There is a local mini market 50 metres away and some nice tavernas 200 metres up a slight hill. The main road into Chania has a few miles of tourist shops, which will suit some people more than others. You can get a bus into Chania easily enough. It would be unpleasant to walk that far on a hot day. We rented a car for the week and this was a great location to get to the beautiful beaches of western Crete.

Perfect! What makes this hotel amazing are the staff! Everyone of them cannot do enough to make your stay special. Couple that with the actual property = perfection!
