It is a historic country pub, and rooms are clean but pretty basic. We have recently installed ACs in 6 rooms. All rooms are in the first floor and there is no lift. There is common area and shower facilities. You might wake up in the morning to the sound of Rooster or Pigeons.

Large family room in centrally located old pub
The room in this old hotel was as described, clean and comfortable enough. Our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed having the spillover space of the common room for breakfast and games (& we happened to have it to ourselves). The pub meal was good, and we didn’t mind the reasonable evening noise from the pub. The Wilmington Hotel met our expectations.

Didn't expect much really for the price, however, the accomodation was pretty poor. Didn't even bother to switch on the air con and it was 44 degrees the day we arrived. Would not recommend at all
