"A girlfriend and I wanted a few days R and R. This stunning property and location fitted the bill. The beds were so comfortable! Felt cocooned for a few days. Just what we needed. Would recommend the property to anyone wanted to get away from it all. Only downside was the check in process as it was dark by 4pm. We struggled to find the property despite good directions and then found we could not see very well to open the key box. "

"Accommodation is located centrally and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a lovely space to come together with family. Add £13 per day for parking as the place has not its own parking. The place is clean but I gave it a 3 for cleaning because there were empty food boxes behind the desk in the main bedroom. Towels were clean but old . Communication was great and we will definitely go back again but will ask them to pay a little more...

"We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. "

"We stayed for a week during the Literary Festival. The flat is on the first floor and has an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner plus a bedroom and a separate bathroom. It is a reasonable size for two people and well equipped. There was one small error in the VRBO listing which shows a tumble dryer picture whereas the flat offers a clothes stand dryer instead. "We’ve stayed here many times before and this was no different. All the staff are always so helpful and friendly. It’s only a short walk to the town, the Avon and the RSC. We love staying the original part of the property where the floors are reassuringly squeaky and wonky…it is Shakespeare country after all."
