"A quieter area of the city, perfect for families of you want to avoid the stag/hen dos and the crowds. However, still noisy if you need to open the window (kebab shop right outside and a busy road). "Brilliant apartment for a city break holiday. We stayed in the 4 bed two level studio apartment. It was located up 4 flights of steep windy Dutch stairs but you swiftly got the hang of how to navigate them. It was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. There was only the bathroom mirror which sometimes made getting ready a challenge. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "

"Fantastic stay would stay again. The only improvement would be cleanliness as the microwave was dirty and no sheets were provided for the sofa bed. However they do have an essential cupboard which you can help yourself to stuff that is needed. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Amsterdam. The apartment was located very conveniently for museums and galleries, as well as the proximity to the tram and restaurants. The neighbourhood is also a lovely place to wander about and felt safe during the evening (though, you take your life in your hands crossing the cycle lane). The owners are clearly still working on the property as there was a lot of banging and hammering at 7am which may not be ideal if you've had a late night or like to sleep in....

"I loved my stay at Ruby Emma. The amenities were fantastic. It was such good value for money given how large the room was and it being such a modern hotel. I loved being able to control the room via an iPad, the bed was comfy and having black out blinds meant I slept really well. The only downside is the location. Being outside the centre of Amsterdam, there are no trams nor are there any good restaurants directly nearby as it’s a residential area. However, the metro station is 5 minutes away and it’s super easy to get into the centre. I particularly enjoyed going out in the De Pijp neighbourhood and I would stay here again as I find other hotels in Amsterdam to be expensive and poorly maintained. "

"This Sheraton was by far the best experience I’ve had while staying outside of the United States. Staff was very attentive, room was spotless upon arrival, hotel location was outstanding. "I loved my stay at Sonder Park House. I was a solo traveller and felt really safe there. It was a short walk to the tram and nice restaurants and the Van Gogh Museum. Right across the road to Vondell Park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything I needed plus the bathroom had a bath. 👏"
