"The location is magnificent, this is such a stunning part of devon, and you walk out the door basically onto the beach! "Wonderful Escapism A treat away for my 50th birthday. Exceptional service throughout our stay from bar and restaurant staff, through to the lovely cleaning ladies. Made my stay very special, fabulous food both at the Pilchard Inn and the black tie dinner. Any little issues were dealt with straight away and am already looking for an excuse to go back again, oh and you must brave it and take a swim in the mermaid pool."

"This is a family run hotel that felt welcoming and safe. We stayed in a huge family room with bank beds and a cot bed for our 3 little ones. The hotel employees were very kind and accommodating. Best place to stay in Dartmouth if you have a family. There is an outdoor and indoor pool with spa. Very close to the beaches and woodlands theme park."
