Hotel upgraded us to a de luxe room with lake view, and gave us 7 days of full English breakfasts, all at no extra charge. Excellent staff! Friendly and approachable. "It really IS a working farm with real hard working people there who care.Matthew recieved some pygmy goats while we were there and it was fun to see them. The place was thoughtfully decorated and spacious. If you are very tall you need to be carefull here. It is in an old stone structure that has some recent modern upgrades. Very warm and cozy. A 5 minute walk from the front door gets you a million dollar view. TONs of great hiking and mountain biking options nearby. We would gladly stay here...

"This place is heaven on earth. Absolutely stunning grounds and the cottage is gorgeous! Immaculate! Paul and Julie welcomed us on arrival and were so informative. Hillary went out of her way to take us to get groceries as we were without acar. Loved them all! We can't say enough good about these folks. Would definitely stay there again!"

"It is a remote location so would suit people with a good car, pleasure in challenging walks and a break from the phone. There was plenty of room for the two of us and our two dogs. "What a beautiful location and lovely little cottage. We were worried about the size of the bunk beds as we didn't realise they were not full size but my daughter and friend (5'11" and 5'9" found them very comfortable). The track up to the house was more of a problem. Glad our car has lots of clearance - a small car would not have managed those pot holes!"

"Weather was bad for the first few days, but the cottage was lovely and cosy. We stovked up on food and enjoyed some family time. When weather improved we were able to enjoy several locations. It was a lovely qiuet lication perfect for de-sttessing, helped by the ducks."

"Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "
