"Chabihau is a very smaĺl coastal gulf village. Limited groceries, restaurants, yes, but wonderful scenery around the area. Coastal road further east and the various small roads leading directly to the inland market towns give you a true flavor of this area of Yucatan. You can't find it anywhere else. ..."

"Old friends came for a few days to relax. Storm had hit the beach just before our arrival so the beach was not ideal but we swam & used kayaks on the flat Gulf water. Host was great re: communication & hospitality. Great area for sunsets & birdwatching. Nothing really within walking distance ; kitchen ..."
