Great stay
Accommodation is separate building to the pub but on same land but quiet during my stay on a quiet location. Nice, clean with even milk, butter, eggs and fresh bread which was a bonus. Lovely food over at the pub, generous servings and friendly staff too.

Lovely little property located in a quaint village:) Staff members were super friendly on arrival and the whole check in/out process was smooth. The property has a lot of charm but needs a little tlc. The bathroom is basic and shower not great but the rest of the facilities in the room were good. The bed was a little on the hard side and very squeaky. Overall a good stay and for what we paid we were happy :) thank you x

Lovely property and lovely staff at pub. Great food and drink and very friendly service. Amazing value stay. Unfortunately heavy rain the night we stayed led to some leaks in property and bubbling drains in early hours of morning which hopefully can be fixed soon. Bad luck for us but otherwise would have been great.

We had a pleasant stay - the property is honest and clean, the shower could be better but we enjoyed the property. The adjacent pub was really friendly, served good honest food and we were made to feel welcome. The property and the food are excellent value for money. The nearby designer shopping village as very easy to get to and it only cost £5.50 for 2 people to park and ride to nearby York city centre

Perfect Retreat for Dog Owners
The cottage is quirky and my little dog loved it. The village is pretty and the hotel next door serves nice food. The cottage has everything you need but an investment in a new bed and sofa would be chef’s kiss.
