Shout out to the very pleasant young man who checked us in, tall, dark, plus Claudia, Nuna & Nicki who all made our visit extra special. Special shout out to the ever present Paul….present when not even in the building, who was instrumental in helping with my wife’s birthday celebrations. Thank you Paul. "We stayed Friday for 1 night while visiting the Christmas markets. Great hotel and spa formerly the money. We paid for dinner bed and breakfast and ate in the Fat Abbot on site pub. Bus to York took about 30 mins and was every 15 minute £2 each way."
