I booked a room with a king size bed, upon check in the staff lied and said I reserved a room with two queens. They checked me into a room with two double beds. The tv was broken, immediately reported it to front desk within 5 minutes of check in. They made us feel like we did it. The water in the shower/tub only got luke warm, we ended up microwaving ice buckets with water in an attempt to take a hot bath. The following morning when we went to eat the continental breakfast, there was only coffee. They stated they no longer served any food but didn't bother to update the website.

First off, lemme just start by saying you get what you pay for, that being said, if you’re not a sure bougie brat you’ll have fun. We had the jungle themed room and it was great. Can’t wait to come back.

The people running the motel were very nice and accommodating. The bathroom had been updated recently and the furniture will be updated in early 2025. I would definitely stay there again.

Unfortunately, this cool themed, and beautiful garden motel turned into a nightmare stay. I found a bedbug in the bed. I took a few photos, put it in a cup and took it up to the managers office. Mr Patel was very rude and accused me of bringing the bug to scam the motel. He became angry and would not let me switch rooms or refund my stay. I went to another motel and found out the next day he actually charged me an additional $100 on my card. l'm trying to dispute these charges and deep clean all the articles of clothing Į had in the room.

I've always loved this motel, as it's convenient and very quiet, even being right next to Hwy 62. There's some other hotels nearby that make you feel like you're in the middle of the road noise-wise. The only thing that brought this review down to four stars was that it took the shower a long time to warm up. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Great deal for the price.

50’s room
Had the 50’s room. It was comfortable enough. Room could use a deep cleaning as there was dust all over fixtures. The TV was inoperative, at least the remote was. Large tub was better than expected.

Overall I enjoyed the effort put into the theme of the room. I booked the Jungle room. And I can say the effort put into the room was very creative. My only thing with it was the materials used. I myself have allergies from time to time. The materials in the room created a heavy dense smell. The sculptures are dusty and were making my nose very stuffy and my body itchy. I enjoyed the theme but definitely not for me. I want to give the other rooms a try see how they differ. Also the hot tub is placed right in front of the window and the shades do have gaps. Light comes in and you see in and out. They should have black out curtains instead. I do appreciate the hospitality and the effort of the location so I would recommend the stay for the price.

Charming hotel
Charming hotel in a convenient location. We love this place for a quick Joshua Tree trip or a concert at Pappy & Harriet's. It is an older place but our room was upgraded and was so cute - it was The Safari Room. I'm guessing most rooms are upgraded. Anyway, the room was super clean and quiet. I will not hesitate to stay here again!

Microwave didn't work properly, extremely old. No laundry facility. No room service (site said there was and big reason why i booked it) or breakfast. Jetted tub backed up in shower when draining and using shower. I expected more for $175. Was a big room tho.
