"My first solo trip and it could not have gone better! The location was amazing in the centre of Valetta, literally not even 2 minutes from the main street. There are shops and restaurants along the street and it was super easy to find. The hotel offered me an airport shuttle but i used public transport. I was given a whatsapp message with videos on how to access the hotel on the day of check in. I had some teouble with my main door upon checkout (my own fault, i wasnt turning enough) the staff...

"Our stay at Ellul Living was wonderful. The unit we stayed in was recently refurbished with top of the line kitchen appliances, a very comfortable bed with a large television and a great bathroom with shower. The location was perfect for us with a short, 10 walk to downtown Valletta along a beautiful, well lit pedestrian walkway. The area was safe and quiet. "Excellent place to stay! Friendly people, beautiful accommodations! Perfectly located and has a rooftop pool to boot! The only criticism would be the mattresses… they were too firm for our liking and it made it hard to sleep, but we like soft beds so anyone else may not have an issue at all. "Fantastic few days in the apartment, it had everything you could need for a short stay and more. The apartment was close to some great restaurants and shops. Loved the hot tub at night just sat watching the stars and the city views. Would highly recommend this apartment. I hired a car but in hindsight probably would have just used the buses as parking in Malta is a bit of a problem wherever you go. "

"Nice, clean, comfortable apartment in the centre of Gzira, with balcony that receives afternoon sun. Property provided everything we required for a long weekend stay. 5 min walk from the bars and restaurants of Sliema and 10 mins to the Valletta ferry. Easy self check-in with instructions received on the day before arrival. On street parking is available, we were lucky on the occasions we arrived to be able to park within 100m or so, on adjoining streets."

"The check-in staff was appalling, never had a bizarre experience like it before. Bed was nice but pillows useless. Very slippery bath when having a shower and no body cream for quests. Breakfast was very delicious with lots of options. And the view from the room was amazing, over to the sea and the beach and the sunset. A nice hotel and I would return just for the view."

"Just returned from a 4 night stay in this hotel. What a beautiful hotel. I would say it is ideally suited to over 50s, superb rooms with everything you could wish for. Sea views, fantastic breakfast and evening meals. There is a buffet evening meal or a la carte or bar snacks. Complimentary taxi from the hotel into Valetta town near the bus station. Its a short walk but it is up a hill, so its great and runs every 20 mins. no need to book it. The staff are fantastic. the rooms are cleaned and beds changed every 2 days, turn down service in the evenings with complimentary chocolates left on your bed side table. towels given for the pool areas. Fantastic indoor pool with hot tub and very grand outdoor pool with amazing views. Cannot rate this hotel high enough. Book bed and breakfast and you can decide which evening meal you require and book at the reception for the evening. food in the bar area in the evening is great to. We had 2 evening meals in the admirals lounge buffet style. The international evening on a Monday was the best. Maltese buffet on the Wednesday wasnt as much to our liking, but well worth the money. We had an evening meal in the bar area one night excellent food, and 1 night out at the famous 33 steps taxi there and back 5 euros each way. Fantastic food and atmosphere. We will definitely return to this hotel, dont stay anywhere else you are guaranteed to love this place as much as we did."

"Everybody was amazing! Shan from reception, Alice and Sujata from spa, Julian from the gym, Cristy and Renelyn from the restaurant. Basically everybody from this hotel are excellent! The amenities are superb! 645 sea view room with the bath tub, love it! It would be perfect if the toilet is in the same area as the bathroom or even just have a bidet but because apart from that I absolutely loved my stay in this absolutely superb hotel. I will definitely come back! It's near everything and the view is just out of this world. "
