"Decent for the price we paid. Breakfast was great. Room on the small side and the aircon in the room needed a service as we all started coughing when it was on. The windows cannot be opened, so we ended up with stale air."

"It was nice being upgraded on the to a better room. The receptionist was really nice and even played the piano for us. The rooms are large but the rooms facing the rail tracks don't have windows that open. Overall it's a great hostel and has a good modern look"

"Bloc overall is a good, modern budget hotel with contemporary features. Apartment rooms are the best with good amenities including mini kitchen with fridge, coffee maker, microwave and sink. Staff on reception were very helpful. The only downside is there is no breakfast, but there are cafes a short walk away in the Jewelry Quarter "

"Not easy to find when your Google maps stops talking to you. The hotel was good a little tired but very clean. Only one lift working that caused a bit of a problem as the hotel seemed pretty full. Good breakfast worth having "
