"My partner and I came to visit Alnwick for her birthday, and after a previous stay at a Premier Inn, we decided we wanted something with more character. The Hog’s Head Inn is a really lovely hotel, and considering it broke ground in 2011, has a feeling of being built in the 1800s, with the wood and stone decor in the main bar area. It’s not that evident when you book so maybe they should make it more obvious. Parking was free in the car park 100 yds away but only for 24hrs at a time.
