We ate in the pub in the evening and got talking to the owner about Huddersfield pigeons and their (lack of) merits. Food brilliant - we chose a chicken and a lamb dish. Beautiful. "Well worth the price. We had a lovely two night stay as visiting Bridlington Spa for a UB40 gig. Breakfast was included and trust me, if you want a breakfast to set you up for a day exploring, the breakfast is Huge. Host and staff we met were lovely and friendly. Its clear there are some improvments being made to the place, but overall and for the price we paid it is perfect. Its perfect location is set just round the corner of everything you could possibly need."
