"My tiny room was sufficient and quiet,of human noise anyway.The restfulness of my stay was however ruined by some sort of generator or extractor that hummed like an aeroplane on and off night and day outside. Duvet only just warm enough and I am not a fussy person. Place a bit soulless and staff therefore a bit disengaged. It’s an interesting formula for low cost accommodation but needs tweaking back a bit from being quite so basic and functional."

"Hot water fluctuated. Central location handy for walking about town. Staff helpful, especially at breakfast which was filling. "

"This is a lovely grand hotel which is in need of refurbishment. The rooms were clean and comfortable and spacious. There was good parking included. The breakfast buffet was ok but only had instant coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful. I understand it has just got new owners who have plans to upgrade. It has great potential."

"What an amazing fined, a random decision for a couple of nights away for the new year. What a quirky place, fantastic staff amazing breakfast and there main menu all at great prices. Ciarian, went out of his way, service with a smile, along with Ben and the manager Thank you for a lovely stay highly recommend you and hopefully we will return in the summer. "
