"I was a bit skeptical after looking at reviews. But this hotel is great, it is a bit of a hike down to town but its €7 in a taxi for 4 of us, not alot really, and kinda enjoyed being away from the madness.. i also rented a car which was handy also.. "

When we arrived, for some reason hotels.com had told them we were travelling with an infant, which we found amusing for my 13 year old to have to sleep in the cot they had set up for us. "Haciendas Village is a lovely location as it’s walking distance to Adeje, beach, shops and a short drive (cheap taxi - definitely use local taxis and not uber) from the touristy places. Area felt safe for women. We had the one bed apartment with large terrace and it was perfect for 4 girls with the two on the sofa bed saying how comfy it was. "We had a really nice stay at Sol Sun Beach. Nice hotel, great apartment, friendly staff and very good location. The breakfast buffet was good The only down sides were, the Wi-Fi was weak or non existent in most spots so make sure you have plenty data. The fridge was old and our wee cockroach friend made a dash under the pull-out sofa bed in the lounge - glad we werent using it. We paid for a pool view and it was lovely however no access to pool from room, we had to exit at back of room and walk...

UK tv channels available. 8 mins to a large supermarket and about 15 mins to the beach, close enough to everything you could need but far enough for a bit of peace and quiet."

"not to helpful with booking and very confusing pre arrival info, the wifi is non existent and cost me a fortune to pay a roaming tarrife for my phone. however friendly staff especially the gate man and cleaners. nice view , very big balcony and comfy bed. we would stay again if in puerto colon."
