"Nervous to visit after reading reviews. However, there is a lot of refurbishment going on. The downstairs looks fabulous and the car park/outside space is being worked on. The room was ropey, window held open with a block of wood and a pane of glass missing. Curtains not hanging correctly and a socket out. But, we arrived when they were busy and so checking in was delayed. The staff apologised for wait, and the room! The breakfast was absolutely banging and the staff were exceptional. Helpful...

"Excellently situated on the high street. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room and facilities were ideal. My only criticism of the room is that the lighting could have been better. There were lots of lamps but they did not give enough light. "

"Only offered Continental breakfast when pictures on website showed a cooked one, I thought would be available. But was a phenomenal set up anyway with loads of choice. Room was clean, excellent shower facilities & great nights sleep. Room a little small so crowded & difficulty setting up my Laptop easily for working."
