Our first impression when walking into the hotel was very modern and beautiful, but when we got off the elevator on our floor I felt we were in a different hotel, it was dark and a little dated! I’m all about conserving energy but if I was traveling alone I would’ve felt a bit uneasy going to my room! The room was very clean…we were staying 2 nights, so we didn’t need housekeeping but they were very kind by leaving a bag outside our door...

"This place is ground-zero in the center of Galway. Parking is off-site, in your choice of huge city parking garages about 10 minutes away. The hotel is old, but has been renovated. We found the place a bit odd, and the parking issue was the last thing we needed being challenged by driving in Ireland in the first place. "good stay. a little far of a walk to Galway city centre so we took a taxi which was inexpensive. lots of parking if you are driving in. a little noisy but lots of people there for a wedding. breakfast was good so purchase that for sure"
