"The Castillo Magico! It’s like stepping into history. It was a privilege to meet and be hosted by the owner and her wonderful staff. We were lucky to stay in the bedroom of Edward James, very comfortable with stunning mountain views. The owner gave us a tour and explained the history of her grandfather’s house. "The hotel is close to the Edward James gardens but not to anything else. The restaurant is fairly limited in its offerings. There were several families there at the time and the noise carried into our room. "

"Clean hotel, very friendly staff. Small town with local restaurants and shops within walking distance. Very close to the Cascada Tamul. Ask for Cesar to be your tour guide if planning to go to the Cascada / Cenote, he was there on site at the hotel/restaurant. Amazing views all around. "

"Loved this place, the pool was awesome we had a great time. The hotel is located very closed to Xilitla downtown so we walked and admire the small town. The breakfast was included another plus. And customer service was great very friendly people 🤗 me and my family recommend the hotel. Very clean, AC units worked perfect. We booked 5 rooms. It was fun. "
