"Our room had recently been refurbished and may also have been an upgrade (ask for room numbers 10-16). Facilities and decor were excellent, with a walk-in shower, comfortable bed and free parking. We didn’t have dinner in the hotel but the restaurant was very busy. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was of a good standard. Staff were friendly and professional so we would have no hesitation in recommending the Royal Hotel."

"Better than staying at one of the hotel chains. Had a mini kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, cutleries, mugs and dish soap, which is handy for meals. Facilities are neat and well kept. Big bed for 2 people also. Had netflix on tv also. Really loved our stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay - the room was large and spacious, however it would have been helpful to have a small fridge. We stayed for the week but the first night seemed to be karaoke night, so it was on the loud side until about midnight All in all the space was great"
