"Position was good for conference. Room had view of lane and garbage bins. It was generally quiet. Our room was last serviced on 2nd floor so I returned at approximately 3-4 pm to unserviced room which I the vacated to have cleaned. I had been out all day. This on the 2 full days we stayed. Room was small but comfortable the bathroom excellent and very clean and tidy. It also appeared reasonably fresh and fittings new. We did not receive the free bottle of wine as offered in original promo from...

"The reception staff were amazing and attentive to our individual needs. There were days when the room refresh was done later than ideal. I understand this isn't the norm and was probably a staffing issue, but we were in the room and didn't want to leave. "

"It's a "I loved it however" situation. The building is charming and old: also means the soundproofing is minimal. They have warned us about club noises before booking, but it's the extend that as an Asian it surprised me. I didn't mind because I'm hearing impaired, and I can feel the windows shaking from the club noise until around midnight. I slept well because again, I'm hearing poor so to me it's like sleeping on a train. I don't know how many others would feel this way. "

"Hotel was clean, great location, kinda pricey for the shoebox size room. But place was clean, staff very friendly, especially cleaning staff for rooms. Bar and Restaurant in foyer called "Stubby's" was convenient very friendly staff, great chef, great food well priced, children friendly awesome! Only bad point was the size of the shower/bathroom/toilet arra and the terrible sliding door on the bathroom, that offered no privacy from family members. Also TV did not work and i couldnt even mirror...

"I stayed here for one night and absolutely loved my stay. Apartment was spacious, and had a great view. Kitchen and bathroom were clean. I like the dramatic lighting from the reception (old building) to the lifts.Transport to the city is just adjacent to the hotel. Cheerful and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again. "

"Room was comfortable and clean, friendly reception staff, felt safe even though very central location in the city. Great restaurant options for breakfast and dinner right outside, but very noisy at night. Well maintained."
