The building is all traditional Kerala, lots of dark wood, and a very amusing lift playing Tamil music. The hotel is metres away from the beach, we had a sea view room with air conditioning which was very pleasant. However, the photos of the hotel on Expedia we saw are at least 20 years old and the hotel is no way a 4* hotel by western standards.
