Due to the nature of my DJ work (@illeegul), I had to come and check in early and check out late and they were more than accomodating of my scheduling. "Overall a good spot to stay if you're visiting NYC. Can't really be helped that the surrounding area is a bit dodgy, but the hotel itself was safe and clean and had a decent breakfast. "First, we arrived late at night for check in and our reservation was given away but we were sent to another nearby hotel for the night which was an 8 minute walk away to make up for it. "The hotel and staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, I was there for a medical reason. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate me and my family. The area around the hotel felt a little unsafe to me at night so we just never walked around at night. We did not mind walking around during the day. There were no restaurants within walking distance, but Christina recommended some great restaurants that were only a 5-minute uber ride. We will come back because of the wonderful service."
