3 Star Hotels in Rode, Frome

"8/10 lost points on the mattress being very firm, not conducive to a good nights sleep for me sadly. Double Room was small but adequate for us for 3 nights stay. En suite spacious, nice big shower cubicle,hot water. Food was very good, plenty of choice on the menus in the evening. Breakfast was help yourselves so as much of whatever you wanted. Only down side was the dreadful tea from an electric machine. Weak, tasteless, colourless. Everyone was complaining about it but was the same every day....

"Perfect for a stopover visiting bath. Room was good size and very large bathroom, but there was a slight musty smell and the bathroom was very cold as the only form of heating was the towel rail which wasn’t working properly. Lovely old building and very helpful staff."

"Amazing hotel and the staff were great, could not of been more helpful after a last minute booking at 9pm after the original hotel we booked (The Crossways) was totally unacceptable to stay in due to our room being directly above the speakers for a Christmas Party they were hosting. Noise in the room was so loud no one would of been able to sleep and given we had a 6 year old child with us even more shocking they put us in that room. "Nice hotel, comfy room but quite dark, nowhere to do makeup. Noisy from the street but expected that. Breakfast a little unimpressive and staff not the most attentive, just left to sort yourself out. Very dated room in much need of a makeover but bed was comfortable and shower was good. "

"Lovely location and a nice place to stay. We had a standard room and the bed was very small with a bedside cabinet on one side only. Shower was very dated and small. Evening meal was good but service is slightly lacking. Breakfast allows you just one hot dish. Cereal and yoghurt was brought to you so no self service. It was included in the room price but wouldn't pay £15 each otherwise. "
