"We were pleasantly surprised by this little boutique hotel. It is located in a quiet alleyway in the heart of the old town, surrounded by many cafes, restaurants and temples. The hotel is tastefully decorated. The pool was just big enough for us and we enjoyed having a couple of beers in the courtyard. The staff was very nice, helpful and spoke pretty good english. We would definitely recommend Taphae Loft and would stay again."

"I liked the location as it’s not in the middle of the madness just on the edge and only a few baht for a grab taxi and quick to arrive. Was quiet - I had a room overlooking the pool, wouldn’t want to be overlooking the street - apart from Sunday night when every noisy motorbike exhaust seemed to be in the street. Staff are wonderful. "We enjoyed the room. We had a patio and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and well maintained, except for some damage to the wall where condensation had accumulated under the wall-mounted air conditioner unit. We didn't see mold, but I was slightly concerned. The breakfast was a la carte and not included in the price of the hotel.
