"Staff were very friendly...I arrived very early & they were still able to check me in, which was beyond Wonderful. Room was nice, bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water...yes, the room was quite small, but it worked for me. Tram stop for St. Peter's was directly in front of hotel and there were usually taxis parked across the street. Unlikely that I will return to Manchester, but I would definitely stay here again if I ever do."

"Perfect location for train travel pre or post stay, right next to Piccadilly station or the tram/free bus stop to Victoria station. Lovely lobby area, and staff were all very friendly! There was a cigarette butt in the room I had at the the corner, but easily missed as hidden under the thick curtains. Didn't impact it my stay, and staff did offer to move me if I wanted when I reported to them without hesitation. Great service!"

"Upon arrival, the hotel was found to be very bright and airy. However, the room was cold and damp at times during the visit. The shower in the bathroom was virtually unsuable due to not being able to adjust the angle of the shower head's spray whatsoever - the resulting water spray was virtually horizontal, and the control on the mixer taps to adjust the shower's temperature was very difficult to use. The latter tended to result in scalding hot water, rather than a comfortable water temperature....

"No sockets were working was told it would be sorted then , came back that night and still had problems , no tv or kettle working and then was moved at 2 in the morning . No reception open when checking out .terrible dirty run down place . Would never go back again . Looked like a derelict building with shady characters hanging around outside."
