"Hotel Dolphin Grand in Varanasi is a fantastic value. Very conveniently located and comfortable hotel for the price. Sure, there might be nicer places in town and ones closer to the Ghats, but they cost a lot more and will be much noisier. Dolphin is close enough to walk to the Ganges, and located on a main street where it is easy to find a Tuk Tuk if you need a ride to the farther parts of town. The room is comfortable enough for two people. The shower did get a little water on the floor, but...

"Staff was awesome at helping me with many questions. Facilities were good & comfortable. The immediate location is dirty but very centrally located and enough off the main 24/7 road to make it more relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. The only issue for me was having a room next to reception so I heard the doorbell a lot. The local power grid is a bit unreliable but works most of the time."
