"This was an unscheduled stop on route to Cornwall due to bad weather. What a pleasant surprise, a beautiful old Inn a short distance from the A30. The staff were friendly and helpful, great service a lovely evening meal and an excellent breakfast. We will definitely be returning with hopefully better weather."

"Lovely two night stay in YHA Boscastle. The receptionist was super helpful in suggesting places to eat etc. The room was clean and functional and there were plenty of bathrooms nearby. "

"Nice clean rooms had to go to the old dairy directly opposite for breakfast as the pub wasn’t open Monday or Tuesday which wasn’t a problem. Lovely area and people really friendly "

"The location, grounds and building are lovely. Ambiance is unpretentious and professional, the food delicious. The rooms are lovely but our bathroom was a let down. Very deep old and somewhat dangerous bathtub, with mixer shower taps. No way to shower without flooding. Very limited shelving/storage - nowhere to put washbags etc."

"Lovely setting and extremely comfortable. The dinner was exciting and very efficiently served. The lounges were spacious allowing for quiet areas and privacy and all furnished with furniture appropriate to the building. All the staff were friendly and willing to help in any way. We greatly enjoyed our overnight stay and would certainly recommend the hotel without reservation."
