We were not aware the facilities were being refurbished and disappointed the pool and hot tub were too cold to enjoy. Hopefully their refurb is complete on our next visit and we can enjoy the whole package. Rooms need to have brighter lighting available as quite dark."

"Really enjoyed my time here, mostly peaceful, food good and left alone as needed privacy. Lovely pub and surroundings. Only gripes would be loud music until 2.00am in the morning one of nights I was there, but I guess this comes with staying in a pub. Also nasty smell in shower/toilet room, Maybe a problem with water pipes. Sort of like a dirty drain smell. Shame as the rest of my experience was great."
