"We stayed as we booked the late swim and spa. Are room for three had two double beds and bathroom. Although dated and in need of a little attention it didn’t detract from our stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel. The outside swim area was cold and we couldn’t stay in it for long. The indoor pool was lovely and warm. We ate in the bar as the restaurant was full. Food was good and warm. Overall a great stay and would return."

Only things I could fault was v dusty behind the headboard, room and bathroom bit tired in places and could do with a bit of soundproofing. On the plus, everything you need is there. "Location is excellent and we was warmly welcomed by the reception team.. the hotel is in a fantastic location and really enjoyed our stay there.. a big let down was the noise coming from a disco/nightclub that was pretty loud even though we was located on the 4th floor but at the front of the hotel.. breakfast was good but overpriced.. especially as it was a buffet.. we would stop there again "

"Friendly welcome, smooth check in (used to be hotel receptionist so appreciate that all the more). Comfortable room with everything I needed - extra heater did make it a tad hot but OK once that off (woman of age with internal heating). Slept so well I overslept. Food at all conference events was great as was service. Slight issue with shower head pointing the wrong way and spraying the floor - operator error). Quick swim and steam refreshed me - had I not overslept, would have been down early...

"Overall the stay was good. The room was clean and comfortable, with late breakfast available at weekends. The dining experience in the Inkwell bar/restaurant was very poor.
