"Our experience was amazing. The room was so cosy, clean and warm. A beautiful bath with gorgeous toiletries supplied. The owner and son were so friendly and helpful. They have a dry room which was great for our hiking gear. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel, b&b or guest houses. Will definitely be back again. "

"Lovely old building, great welcome from Lucy. Room was spacious with a huge comfy bed. Shower had really good pressure and gorgeous toiletries. Plenty of mirrors for getting ready along with good storage space and a good hairdryer. Breakfast was delicious and really good quality produce. Honesty bar in the lounge for those who wanted anything extra. Nice and quiet area but very close to bars, pubs, eateries - less than 5 minute walk. Parking is tricky close to hotel as very little space so...

"Didnt have my booking on the system, appeared to give me the reserve room that they use for last case scenarios. The stairwell ran diagonally above the bed so every time someone walked up the stairs it boomed through just above your head. Hidden charges for using the gym. Main reception in a different building. Free parking was the only decent part. "

"Extremely well run and homely B&B just outside Keswick. The breakfast was a particular highlight - especially the a la carte menu. Small things (like tea & coffee in the room with fresh milk, flapjacks in reception and USB charging sockets) make a big difference. I also appreciated the excellent advice provided by the hosts on hiking routes and where to eat in Keswick. I only stayed for one night but will stay longer next time. "

Lorraine is such a wonderful host, always helping with any information we need and goes out of her way to help me with storing my luggage before checkin and after checkout.The location is fantastic, just next to the Town centre and bus stops. The street is well-lit and safe to roam even when dark. The room is super cosy and the bedding is clean and so comfortable that my kids would love sleep-in instead of going out and about.
