"We enjoyed a pleasant and comfortable experience at Antico Panada. It had plenty of Venetian charm - antique style furnature, Murano glass light fixtures, and prints from local street artists. One thing to keep in mind is that there is an oceany smell in the whole building. Not entirely unpleasant (we would stay again!) and understandable considering Venice is an island, but if you are sensitive to scents, this may not be the place for you. "

"The hotel was absolutely beautiful, but getting around for sightseeing was quite challenging. The water taxi fare from the train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport was 220 euros. Although the hotel offers a shuttle service, it only goes to San Marco Square, so reaching other tourist attractions requires taking a public water taxi, which consumes a lot of time."

Close to everything you want to do - only a 5 minute walk to St Mark’s, but it feels tucked out of the way. Gondola pickup at the end of the block if you need a ride. Will stay again. "
