"Located right in the centre of Helsingborg, the V Hotel provided us with cleanliness, polite and tentative staff and a room which was on the smaller side compared to normal. However, from previous experience from staying within Scandinavia, we knew this was normal. A vast array of typical and Scandinavian breakfast items were available in the mornings and it even lasted until 11am! This was perfect for me and my fiancé as we like to eat later in the mornings. "The receptionist was very un professionals and rude in dealing with the customers. The door card was getting deactivated again and again it was so annoying and on the top receptionist was rude. "

Some things were surprising though in a hotel of this quality - the curtains not being of sufficient quality to keep out any of the bright sunlight, the only way to turn on the fan was by climbing up on the bed, the tv remote not working. A bit disappointing in a hotel at this price point. "

"Sauntehus Slotshotel was a very good stay. The room was comfortable without being luxe, everything was clean and working. We didn’t have dinner in the restaurant but breakfast was excellent. The grounds and building itself were lovely. "

"Place is great for kids, with lots of activities and close to the beach. Most of the staff are very friendly, but usually only one working in the reception which can mean long waiting times. The place definitely needs to do better on cleanliness, one of the bed mattresses had blood stains. There are no fans or air conditioning so if you’re going during the heat prepare to be really hot and sweaty during the night. All in all the kids loved it and had a great time do it made it worth it despite...
