"We typically stay at higher-end hotels, but this time we decided to bring the kids and chose the Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Our initial room didn't quite meet our expectations in terms of the view, but my wife spoke with the front desk, and they were incredibly accommodating. "Nice pools, but not enough lounge chairs. Rocky beach. Our room was at the end of a hallway that has a door leading to the stairs outside. This door squeaked every time someone enters or exits. Our room had a good ocean view from a distance. They do provide free water bottles so you can fill them with filtered water from their dispensers. Room was cleaned every day automatically. Walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors flushing. "
