"Wish there were more night time options close by but stay was good overall."

"While the lower lobby and rooms felt a bit dated (which is odd considering this is a relatively new hotel), the location can't be beat. In addition, the staff was very friendly. Only complaint is the $50 resort fee which is supposed to include beach access, lounge chairs and towels. However, the beach is free for anyone after Labor Day and chairs aren't available at the end of September as the beach season is over. So basically $50 resort fee for beach towels?"

"I stayed at this hotel for one night. It is located just outside the city near the airports. The hotel has 3 restaurants including an excellent buffet and a really cool rooftop lounge that serves food and cocktails. The staff here is awesome. I plan to stay here again in the future when I visit New York. "

BUT the room was spartan (the decor was simply 3 mirrors, 2 of which were full length), the bathroom lacked places to hang damp towels (one knob-like hook on the back of the bathroom door is inadequate) and also lacked a working electric receptacle (the one there wouldn't accept a plug), and the sheets were pilled (likely part synthetic?). "I loved having dinner at the hotel! It was rainy but not too rainy to walk around and enjoy the shops. My absolute favorite was the spa morning!! "
