"Stayed with my other half for a 2 night Xmas break, positives was location to the city centre, good sized room, efficient check-in process and breakfast (£12 each), good shower, iron and ironing board, negatives..bar only open on the Saturday night, room needs some tlc (209), towel rail didn’t work, dust in many areas of the room, would be a 2nd choice if other hotels we stay at are fully booked (Abode, Crowne Plaza)."

"We loved our stay at Rowton hall, our room was a master suite with a separate lounge which was great to relax before bed. Breakfast was good plenty to choose from, we had 1 dinner which was very good again plenty of choice. The locations is secluded but only 10 mins from chester centre very handy for shopping or site seeing. We would stay again."

"A really lovely room, it appears to be new. The shower room was amazing, great shower and the tiles looked really nice. The floor of the bedroom wasn’t clean on arrival but when I asked about it they dealt with it quickly. All staff were very friendly and the service was great in the restaurant. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious and great value. We were given £20 vouchers due to our tv not working during our stay which was a kind gesture. The parking is included and so convenient....

"Really good central location which offered good value for money. Staff were excellent and went above and beyond when we accidentally left our son’s soft toys behind. Beds comfortable and a well-designed room layout. Only downside was the very worn bathroom area. Flooring reminiscent of a 1980s leisure centre and the toilet door allowed only a little privacy due to very limited frosting. Ok for our family but maybe not for a romantic mini-break! Would recommend. "
