"Pros - I liked the location of the Tower Hotel since the underground was close by and there were numerous restaurants nearby. Cons - the hotel elevators were slow. The buffet breakfast (though abundant)was pricey. My biggest complaint was the taxi service to Heathrow was supposed to be a priced price of £100 but when we got to the airport we were charged £150. Either the hotel was misleading us or the cabbie was not told of the fixed price. We did not want to complain to the cabbie since the...

Carpet need replacing though and it needs a lick of paint as alot of scuff marks around the skirting. Aircon didn't work and broken which meant room was ridiculously hot."

"Hyatt Place is a very modern setup with all the features one needs in a good airport hotel. Whilst it is not directly connected to any of the airport terminals and isnt a walking distance from Heathrow, it is still sited very close and the hotel hoppa bus service stops just in front of the property. My only minor quibble is that the reception staff during check-in was not very friendly for some reason. Could be overwork."
