"We loved our stay here, the cutest place with the nicest staff. AWESOME location in Sayulita, 5 minute walk to the beach and close to the center of town. As previous reviews had stated, it’s very noisy at night, but there is a fan in the room and if you have it turned on it really drowns out the noise and also keeps your room nice and cool, but that fan also has a super bright light which was more annoying to me than the noise from the town. Breakfast every morning was wonderful and delicious...

"Stayed here for a weekend getaway. Location is about a 10min walk to downtown and a block away from the beach. The room wasn’t spotless but it was clean. WiFi wasn’t the best but we didn’t mind since we were there to disconnect and relax. The staff was very nice and helpful especially Luisa. We rented a golf cart for the day through the hotel which was very convenient. We had an issue with the cart and it left us stranded. Once we got back to the hotel Luisa was trying to find us another cart so...

"I would definitely recommend, the staff it’s super nice, the location is amazing (On the Main Street), the room was simple but clean and functional, they have a big terrace you can hang in, they also offer free drinkable water (cold or hot). If you stay you need to try the tacos downstairs and the tiny restaurant right across the street (both are delicious) "

"Looks nicer in pictures than IRL. I didn't see views of the ocean, even at the top of my building (and the small pool wasn't filled there after all) or the other buildings. The pool water was very cold. On site restaurant hours and options were limited. WiFi was spotty. And it's a bit of a walk uphill to get to the hotel, with no elevators or easy access (if you have a lot of or heavy luggage). The manager was very nice, but I had to access for my "VIP free drinks" and about the free room...

"Our stay at Avela was AMAZING!! This was our first trip to Sayulita and we fell in love! It was such a cute little beach town with such a laid back vibe.... You can literally forget about all your cares or worries, and just ENJOY your time there. And the Avela property is removed enough from the heart of town so that it is very quiet and peaceful, yet still within walking distance. They are literally able to take care of all of your needs there -- they have meal service, a great pool area, golf...
