"A good overnight stay. Reception a little lacklustre but engaging in friendly exchange of information. Bar expensive and impersonal. But we would stay there again."

"There is a gym which is mega popular with locals so there is no room in the car park. I had to drive round for 40+mins for a space to appear"

It’s been a long time since we have experienced such a positive approach from a TEAM of staff and not just the odd person within a team. Well done! It was so special (because of the staff)and relaxing we are booked in again on Sunday and Monday!!! Thank you."

"The hotel inside was fine but the surrounding area was a bit dodgy. Thankful that parking was available but it was difficult to exit and there were non hotel guests lurking about."

"Stayed 2 nights as part of a road trip holiday. Played golf on their superb 18 hole golf course. Bar food very good as also the buffet breakfast. Rooms of a good standard."

" Walton Hall is gorgeous and we thought we were staying in there but we were put in a different building so disappointed with that but our room was spotless and well appointed, very close to restaurant and bar. Food was great but most of the bar staff were new and need more training. They were friendly but extremely slow and didn’t have a lot of bartending knowledge. "
