"We’ve just returned from a 4 night stay in a one bedroom residence with our 13 year old daughter. Lovely facilities, calm environment, easy , pleasant stroll to the harbour and to the lovely beach (Praia de Falésia), good food and warm, well trained staff. We enjoyed a an insightful fun cork worskshop arranged for hotel guests. Perhaps the hotel team can’t take credit for the 5 days of clear sunny 18 degree daily weather, but that did add to a perfect post Christmas mini break. "

"We had a two bedroom suite at the Residences. Hotel is beautiful but it is very spread out. To go to beach and main hotel building you need to take a shuttle which you may need to wait for 15-20 minutes. For a 5 star resort service was a bit spotty. We had a mishap at breakfast- was told we can do a la cart instead of buffet but ended up waiting for 1 hour to get eggs which was ridiculous. This hotel is also outside of Albufeira so location is not super convenient - you have to drive to town. "
