"Positives first: Lovely hotel, comfortable bed, superb bathroom. Friendly staff. Definitely staying here again. Negatives: we stayed Friday and Saturday nights. It can get very noisy on Saturday nights when the people start leaving from the nearby bars, clubs and restaurants. I could hear people shouting on the streets till 4AM. This was room 402. I will ask for some other room next time."

"The staff members here were so welcoming and kind. This hotel is beautiful and went above and beyond my expectations. It’s located in a very convenient location as it’s a short walk from both the ferry, and a variety of shops and places to eat, while also being in a fairly quiet neighbourhood. I even received a certificate on my birthday for a free cocktail for both myself and my husband. "

"The staff and service is what makes this stop 5 star (and the amazing pool + garden grounds). The rooms are very small, but you’re in such a fantastic area you rarely spend time in your room. I highly recommend!"

"Great getaway in Gozo. Walking distance from the Ta Cenc cliffs which are a must see and views of Comino and Malta. Beautiful walks from this hotel and even the amazing Mgarr ix-Xini. The hotel itself is a haven, great spa with indoor outdoor pool. 2 other outdoor pools. restaurants, bars cool rooms. I would recommend."

"Our stay was overall pleasant. The hotel is in a great location on the Sliema side, with a bus stop and ferry stops conveniently nearby. The room itself was nice, and we appreciated the twice-daily room cleaning service, which was a lovely touch. However, the soundproofing could be improved, as noise from the neighboring room was disruptive at times. The food offered a variety of options, but the quality was average. Unfortunately, there were very few vegetarian options, and no lactose-free...

"The lobby was elegant and inviting. The staff and turn down service was exceptional. We did a spa treatment with the vitality suite offering which was mediocre. I would say that the price per night was very high given that breakfast was not included and the location is rather inconvenient without any restaurants nearby."

"The location is right in the action of Valetta and its a beautiful modern hotel with a special cachet. Do not bring a car there tough....plan to walk everywhere"

"Absolutely fantastic location!! We also stayed at The Phoenician for 3 nights (after staying at this hotel) and we wished we hadn’t left the Cugo Gran. This hotel is just perfect and boutique with incredible staff. I loved the area and felt like we could explore Malta and still come back to a beautiful and peaceful home base. We had our 6 month old baby with us and put our in-laws / grandparents in a separate room for the family vacation and eveybody LOVED it!"
