"I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Welcombe Hotel and overall, it was a delightful experience. The staff were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. Their professionalism and warmth truly enhanced my stay. The hotel itself boasts a charming ambiance and beautiful surroundings. My room was comfortable and spacious, making it a pleasant retreat after a day of work. However, it did have a few minor issues. The bedroom could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, as some areas looked a bit worn. Additionally, there was noticeable limescale on the bath taps and plug hole, which detracted slightly from the overall cleanliness and appearance. Despite these small imperfections, my stay at The Welcombe Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. The excellent service and welcoming atmosphere made it a memorable visit. I would certainly consider returning in the future and recommend it to others seeking a charming and comfortable stay."

"We went to a friends anniversary party and stayed overnight the room was a twin it was nice adequate litte dated but was acceptable for a night's stay found it bit too warm we were on ground floor and room had heavy sash window which was heavy and difficult to lift so didn't open it Breakfast was good plenty of choice and would return"

"Excellent overnight stay on one of the warmest days of the year so far. Pleasent modern hotel, food and drinks available in lobby pub / bar, clean and airy, excellent facilities including a pool, sauna and steam room available to guests staying club room level or above along with free parking. Even managed to watch the England/Denmark football match in their cinema styled TV room next to the bar. Overall excellent."

"The very best hotel experience ever. We loved the staff. The room was fantastic. The dinners were 5 star. The pool and spa were modern and beautiful, and the grounds around the hotel were like a dream. Bravo!"

"We checked in late at night and would have liked to have paid by cash but it was card only. Would have liked to have used a lift as I have a leg injury but understand that the hotel is old so it didn’t have one. The room & bathroom was modern with tea & coffee making facilities. The highlight of the short stay was the breakfast, for how little the breakfast cost was it was unbelievable value and very nice. All in all the one night stay was extremely good value for money. "
